Hostile Mobs

Killing hostile mobs is the only way to get combat experience. There are 5 customized mobs in MvndiCraft, rats, brigands, wolves, boars & bears.

Each of them spawns with vanilla spawing rules. This rules are well explain in Minecraft.wiki.

Some mobs are easier to kill with some weapon damage type.

Rats

Rats can be found in caves. They spawn in darkness (if the light level is is 7 or less), during daytime & during nighttime, only underground. They can spawn in towns, make sure to light your town to avoid rats.

Rats are easy to kill, any weapon will kill them in a single hit and they don't do much damage. Just make sure to bring at least a bludgeon to kill them easily when exploring caves.

Brigands

Brigands spawn in small groups almost anywhere on the map. They spawn in darkness at nighttime, only on overground. They never spawn in town.

Brigands have various weapons and armors that depend on the region they spawn in. Brigands are hard to kill, especially for a solo player. Make sure to be prepared before fighting them. Musketeer brigands can have an arquebus that will most likely oneshot you.

Wolves

Wolves spawn in packs of various sizes. Wolves spawn during nighttime no matter the light level. Wolves spawn all over the map in most biomes. They never spawn in town.

Wolves only hunt during nighttime. During daytime, they are peaceful. If you heard some howling, it's a wolf pack hunting. Wolves do not have a lot of heal points, but they do a lot of damage and run fast.

Boars

Boars spawn in packs of various sizes from 2 to 8. Boars spawn during nighttime no matter the light level. Boars spawn all over the map, mostly in forest biomes & in swamps. They never spawn in town.

Boars attack players that get too close to them. They can push the player far away when attacking.

Bears

Bears are usually lonely or a couple, but they are the hardest mob to kill. Bears spawn during daytime & during nighttime no matter the light level. Bears spawn on surface for spring, summer & autumn. Bears spawn in caves near the surface for winter. Bears spawn in most of the mountains biomes. They never spawn in town.

Pelts

Killing a wolf, boar, bear or fox will give you a pelt. These pelts can be used to create leather or placed as decorations.
